Description
The Half-Size Enclosed Transport Cabinet is excellent for catering and outdoor events. The unique side panels are designed to load these cabinets up to maximum capacity with ease! Solid side panels are fabricated using unique interlocking extrusions with integrated 1⁄2 guides spaced on 11⁄2 centers. These low-profile guides hold half- and full-size sheet pans by the lip, with no obstructions, allowing users to easily space loaded pans for maximum capacity.
- Heavy-duty channel backs the solid side panels and provides the upright framework
- Tubular supports and inset plates are welded to the solid sheet base. No holes in the framework or base
- Air circulates top to bottom via a chimney effect created by the formed back panel and reinforced door
- Stainless steel hinges allow the door to open 270 degrees, and the flip-down latch clinches the door closed

Construction
- Made of Primary Grade High Tensile Aluminum, extruded on site from type 6063-T5 Alloy billets
Upper Frame and Top
- The upper frame is constructed of vertical uprights 1 x 21/2 x 1/8 thick extruded aluminum channels with top cross and side bracing of 11/4 x 1/2 x 1/8 wall extruded aluminum channel, all fully welded together. A solid cap of .063 thick aluminum is welded to uprights and cross-bracing
Compound Guides
- The compound guides are interlocking solid wall type, extruded aluminum panels. Each panel has a series of guides spaced 11/2 on center, with 1/2 ledges and .090 wall thickness. The guides are welded to the vertical uprights
Rear Panel
- Rear panel is a .080-thick aluminum panel with a corrugation on each side for strength and enhanced air circulation. The panel is welded to the top, bottom, and rear vertical uprights
Door
- Door consists of a 1/8 thick aluminum panel with a corrugation on each side. The door is supported by three stainless steel hinges designed to provide a 270o door swing. A positive gravity catch is provided to retain the door in a closed position. A universal card holder is bolted to the upper front of the door
Tie Rod
- A 7/8 square wall extruded aluminum tube tie rod is welded to the front vertical uprights for extra rigidity. Model #1291 uses two tie rods, one at each end
Bottom Frame
- The bottom frame is constructed of 1/8 thick aluminum sheet with four sides bent down 13/8, and all corners are welded smoothly. The tubular framework is welded inside the 1/8 aluminum sheet for extra rigidity. Caster plates (23/4 x 4 thick pre-tapped) are welded to the bottom of the frame
Casters
- Four platform type 5 casters, full swivel design, sealed ball bearing axle, and non-marking wheels.
